I had a great time doing what I think women love to do: shopping. In Cancún, you can find several places where you can buy souvenirs of the city: key rings, hats, tequila, polo shirts, endless cute gifts for the people we miss and couldn't bring on the trip. Near the shops, there are places to eat and beautiful decorations like this friendly, smiling friend.

The sea water is beautiful, refreshing and at a very pleasant temperature. The sand can be a little hot, so it's best to wear sandals. Don't be alarmed by the plants on the shore, as they are common at this time of year. The hotel staff cleaned the shore every morning with a kind of machine so that bathers would have no problems.

The Catalonia hotel is beautiful, and the service is excellent. Everything is included in the price.
Super important, as everywhere else, whoever arrives first gets the best seats, even if they're not there, but if the towels are there, they're considered reserved. It's the ‘custom’. There's a bar at the foot of the pool, and the seats are literally in the water. Everything is super clean. The food is very nice.
